A.k.a.: "whatever the local sand quarry tries to sell horse owners"
NOTE: the use of these low-quality sands will void all warrantees concerning lifespan of the finished contructed arena.
Reason: the products will outlast these low-quality sands considerably, rendering the arena unusable due to:
unsafe footing due to decomposition of the sand + resultant "deadening" and compaction,
and so forth.
All the above will inevitably result from using a low-quality sand, with high-quality products.
Think of ... "putting used engine oil in the gas tank of a Formula 1 racing machine."

Base options: to be determined (either concrete or compacted/leveled gravel - dependent upon requirements of the type/brand/size of surface materials selected)
Surface options: (client specified "I-Brick" to GC)
Advised flooring systems: (for almost 40 years - the original German/Austrian equestriawn rubber pavers)
KRAIBURG Relastec® equine H-Steine paving bricks (German, shape AKA "I-Bricks" in the UK and USA).
Eco-Flex™ Z-Brick Pavers (Canadian MFG, popular in the UK for equine facilities)
Unfortunately this Canadian manufacturer discontinued their popular "I-Brick Pavers" shape, which was previously in popular demand.
due to the proliferation of the Asian-manufactured import "dogbone shape" bricks (same shape, an exact knockoff of the Kraiburg shape known as "h steine" in German and "I-Brick" in English-speaking countries.
Equestrian customers could not tell the difference - upon their casual inspection,
hence bought the cheap Asian knockoffs instead.
The actual cost of using any Asian rubber pavers comes a few months later - when they decay and must be replaced
Not advised flooring systems - this is up to you:
FlexGuard™ "Dogbone" paving bricks (Chinese import, "smooth surface" :|: shape aka "I-Brick" or "H-Brick")
Others "I-bricks" available (there are thousands of suppliers, from hundreds of manufacturers worldwide, sold by vendors under a multitude or rapidly changing "brands")
NOTE: we would not warrant - or rely upon any warranty or guarantee - for any product which is manufactured in Asia, regardless of the manufacturer's and/or vendor's claims or printed guarantees.
There are no quality control or environmental/toxicity controls in place, and the actual manufacturing facility is commonly switched quickly and without notice to the customer. You end up getting the same "brand" - but the product you receive may be anything ....
Effect: you never know what you will get, what it is made out of, who made it, and what will happen after the check has cleared and the horses start walking on it.
