Question 1: What is the difference between HomeGrid™ and StabiliGrid™?
Question 2: Is HomeGrid strong enough to support cars and trucks?
Question 3: Why are HomeGrid™ and StabiliGrid™ able to provide long-lasting, heavy-duty vehicular traffic surfaces, whereas other geogrids are not?
|
Answer 1» HomeGrid™ is a sligtly less deep geogrid than StabiliGid, 3 cm deep instead of 5 cm deep (1.2" compared to 2.0").
Answer 2» When correctly installed, HomeGrid is still able to support up 22.45 tons / vehicle axle, while remaining flexible + durable. This is more than allowed on any highway in the USA. Which grade you require will depend upon LOCAL factors.
Answer 3» Flexibility and resistance-to-fracture is the key to a long-lasting vehicular traffic surface. StabiliGrid™ and HomeGrid™ are stable from -58º to +194º F.
Compressive strength is only relevant to stationary objects, as long as the surface is able to support the auto tires.
HomeGrid™ compressive strength = over 25 tons /ft², greatly exceeding AASHTO H-20/M-18 standards for public roads, streets and parking lots in America.
